Board of Directors

Mr. Dipankar Basu, former Chairman of State Bank of India is the Chairman of the Board Directors of the Company. Mr. D. Basu is a distinguished banker and is presently the Chairman of Securities Trading Corporation of India Limited, Mumbai.

Mr. N. Jagan Mohan Reddy is the Managing Director of the Company and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, U.S.A. He worked earlier with one of the largest Cement Companies in South India, prior to joining RCL. He has been working with RCL from its inception.

Mr. Y. Santosh Kumar Reddy is the Executive Director of the Company. He is a Mechanical Engineer, with over 25 years experience in various entities related to the dry cell and carbon processing industries.

Mr. T. L. Sankar is the former Energy Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and former Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board. He is a member on the Board of Directors of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

Mr. A. V. Rammurty is the nominee Director of Industrial Development Bank of India Limited. Mr. Rammurty is the Chief General Manager of IDBI Limited.

Mr. S. L. Rao is an Economist and former Director-General of National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER) and former first Chairman of Central Electricity Regulatory Commission. He is represented on the Board of several companies and Management institutions.

Mr. Brian L. Acton, nominee Director of Oxbow Carbon & Minerals, LLC, USA (Oxbow), is the President and Chief Operation Officer of Oxbow and has more than 25 years experience in the mining and bulk materials distribution industry, primarily devoted to marketing coal, petroleum coke and other raw materials.

Mr. N. Balakrishna Iyer is the nominee of State Bank of India on the Company’s Board. He is a well known banker and former Managing Director of State Bank of Hyderabad.
